Farnsworth Public Library was dedicated on June 27, 1903 and has been serving the citizens of Oconto from our beautiful historic building for 115 years! We’re celebrating with food (hotdogs, cake, and ice cream!) and activities for the whole family at an open-house reception on June 27th. There will also be special displays, raffles and other activities in the library throughout the month of June. Stop by to celebrate with us!
Are you in a recipe rut? Interested in getting tips and chatting with other cooks? Attend the first session of our new club, Farnsworth Foodies! We’ll pick a theme for each session and invite participants to cook up a dish to pass that fits the theme. June’s theme is Summer Salads. We’ll sample everyone’s dishes and have time to exchange recipes and chat about what went right or wrong, where to find recipes, etc.
For adults only. Each participant must bring a finished, home-cooked dish, a serving utensil and a copy of the recipe.
The Library will provide plates, eating utensils, and beverages. No registration necessary.
This year’s theme is “Libraries Rock!” Join us for fun events and log your reading time to earn great prizes!
Signup for this program runs May 14-25.

Invent a code! Write with the wrong hand!). Then just take your journal home and "wreck" it!
