FRIENDS of Farnsworth is a non-profit organization established in March 1990 to provide support services to the library. Goals of the group include funding library programs and special library needs, helping with special activities, and informing others of library services and resources.

FRIENDS Candy Bar Sale Fund-raiser
Caramel, Caramel Nut, Chocolate Truffle, Dark Chocolate,
English Toffee, Milk Chocolate,Mint Truffle and Peanut Butter Meltaway
Vande Walle's candy bars are being sold for $1.00 each
at the circulatation and reference desks of the library.
Proceeds will be used for children's programming and other library needs.

Both the library staff and library patrons greatly appreciate the DVD Re-Surfacer Machine purchased by the FRIENDS group this spring. The re-surfacer has put hundreds of DVDs and dozens of audiobooks on CD back into circulation at the library.
Raising $1,499.00 was a great accomplishment and we're so grateful to all who helped with the April and October book sales, the December cookie & candy sale and quilt raffle,
and the brat frys at Thompson's County Market.
FRIENDS Meetings

of March, April, May, September, October and November
